Secure HR features available on GWOT Jobs

(11 Nov 08) Our new Secure HR features have been found to have no known vulnerabilities at this time after having undergone rigorous vulnerability assessment (VA) testing over past 2 weeks - by a contracted company to perform such testing. We now have two (2) companies on contract to perform mandatory VA testing at 3 month intervals. This is in order to keep up with technology and latest web browers on the market. When we teach ethical hacking classes we also have students try their skills on our site. This helps to give us a tremendous amount of eyes on the site as well as working at detecting vulnerabilities early.

Keep in mind - that no matter how secure something is - some one some where can figure out a way in. When we work so hard at keeping up with current technology - we stand a much better chance at staying ahead of the game. Can your company truly afford to do that with this much sensitive information - on a regular basis?

Imagine - a link on your page that says Careers - it has your company LOGO or you can use ours as in the example;

Clicking on this link will take prospecitve job seekers to what ever jobs you have listed at the time.

You job is posted on a secure server. Potential job seeker applies via the secure server by posting their resume to your job posting.

When a potential applicant applies - you get an e-mail that says someone has applied - it will tell you exactly which job - and you can log in and retrieve that particular resume(s) as it applies to that job. No more need for hoping that they will put the proper title in an e-mail when applying for so many different jobs.

You log in to GWOT Jobs secure server and download resume. Once you download you delete it from GWOT jobs. (this adds on extra layer of security for all involved)
 
Do a phone or internet interview and decide to follow up by having them send in more info / forms.

You send them a link for a page which would have all of your job paperwork on it - as well as an area for the potential job seekers to upload the forms or other documents once they are completed. Page would look similiar to this - thought it would be completely customized for your HR section with all forms, Company Logo, FAQ's, etc.:


Of course - all the forms and FAQ would be directly from you - these are for example only. Something I had set up for a client when I was helping him do HR a year or so ago.


Once they upload the form(s) - you get an e-mail that they have uploaded the forms.


You go to your log in page -


Go ahead and log in -

At this time you can download each and every individual form that they have filled out. If the same person comes back and sends an updated form - it will overwrite the old one if they did not change the name. Or add new one if they did.



Click on the folder of the job seeker


Now you can see - you can download each / individual form. Only certain types of forms can be up / downloaded. This is for your safety as well as ours. Keeps from the bad viruses or executable files being uploaded to cause problems. Hence another reason for working within the vetted community for all of our safety.

Once forms are downloaded - it is imperative to use the red X and delete these files. They are no longer needed in the secure server they are now in your companies hands.
