What We Can Do For You!

First of all - we cater to our Brothers in the Special Operations Field. You guys are our priority. This site was started in order to take care of you guys to assist you in finding employment which utilizes the skills we acquire through our training. I have literally helped hundreds if not thousands of the guys/gals find jobs through this network. I have kept peoples important papers on hand like SF86, DD214's, and other lists or types of info so that they had access to it when traveling the world and a new job opportunity presents itself you have access to all that info - relatively quickly and you don't have to pack it around the world with you.

We are finally automating some of the services

Gents and ladies - we have just launched GWOT Jobs - which is nothing more than an automated job board(s) for all of you. It is located at: https://www.gwotjobs.com/ and as you can see by the https - we have gone to a secure server for your resumes and other info you may want to pass through Spec Ops Advantage - as it is for ALL of us to stay and be more secure in our job hunting.

The users and the companies are still going to be vetted through this new job board - and definitely catering to the personnel of this network. It is not an open invitation to any company that wants to list - they must be legitimate and vetted. Same applies for the job seekers.

We have in the plans - ways for all of you to be able to secure your info so that it is available to you through secure means in the event more personnel want to store their sensitive info so it is handy when needed. Currently the information is stored on an external Hard Drive which is only connected when I am using it - using the secure server will greatly enhance the security as well as your being able to access it when / where you need it.

Several other items are in the works that will provide you with much better tools in your job searches. We just need to get the site rolling along financially enough to be able to support itself. Not a cheap venture as anyone in this business knows. We are working on it - and have been for years.

Why did this start?

Well first off - I have always kept a pretty good sized mailing list for past 12-15 yrs and have always been a main POC for people passing messages around. Some time in 2004 I had received an e-mail for a job position that sounded very good, great pay and had come through many of our own.

Several of us applied for the job. A couple of us attempted to find out who the company was - who the reciever was of the resumes and low and behold we could not find or vet this person. Not a good thing to do in todays world. I felt like I had betrayed my very own family.

After inquiring and tracing the list down I attempted to find people that may know of this company or personnel. YEAH it came through people I know and trust - but none of them had any idea of the originator. It was a job and it was being passed to our very own.

Hence I started vetting ALL JOBS and all personnel that came to my individual mailing list much more carefully before passing onto any of my known contacts. The web site itself - is a result of a class project to make a fictitious web site - for a company we would like to design. I chose Spec Ops Advantage and spent 2 entire classes online to take the time to get the site and content set up.

Spec Ops Advantage has grown immensely over the past couple of years from a few hundred to well over 8000 vetted SpecOps personnel and well over 6000 Intel, Law Enforcement and other military personnel on the list and 300+ companies that hire our guys. It has defintiely turned into a full time job, but one I am proud to say - found me - and one job I truly enjoy.

Vetting

We do our very best to VET - each and every member on the list. All of the jobs that are posted are also vetted to ensure that it is not some fictitious company to which you are submitting personal info - not only on your training, but your home address and other info as well.

Resume submission

In order to better serve all of you - we would like to get a resume or at least a chronological listing of your specialty skills and training as well as language skills. This not only helps us to id the potential resources with in the database, but it allows us to contact you personally if you fit the requirements for particular jobs first - before they are posted to the list for over 8000 vetted and other personnel to submit their resumes for that particular job. Submit your info today. We prefer MS Word document.

Another benefit of this is that companies which are looking for our personnel - get a warm and fuzzy knowing that they can not only rely on our brothers in the field, but even those of us with some computer skills to help match all of us up with worthy employment.

Take the time to submit your resumes to these other job search engines as well. Never know - many of these companies are still using many of these much more expensive tools to find personnel.
